Man City Ink Car Battery Partner for Thailand

Thailand’s leading car battery brand is the latest partner of Manchester City F.C.
According to Thursday’s announcement, GS Battery becomes the Official Car Battery Partner of the Blues for the country of Thailand.
Under terms of the agreement, the Japanese manufacturer of automobile and motorcycle batteries will film a TV ad with City players to be aired across Thailand. 
GS Battery will also enjoy use of City’s crest and player imagery on packaging, point-of-sale and marketing material throughout the country. 
“We are striving to build a high performing football club to be enjoyed by our growing fan base around the world, whereas GS Battery also strives for continuous technological and environmental advancement in order to develop the highest quality products for its customers,” said Tom Glick, Chief Commercial & Operating Officer for Manchester City.
“This shared vision will allow both organizations to passionately deliver a more exciting football experience for fans across Thailand.”
Prakasit Pornprapar, Executive Director of Siam GS Sales Co Ltd, added: “Through supporting our local football industry by sponsoring the Thai Premier League and Division 2, and partnering with Manchester City, it is hoped GS Battery will help raise the international standard of our local game, while helping to create opportunities for Thais to one day enter world football in the near future.”
HP Sponsors Spurs
The world’s largest technology company is the newest sponsor of Tottenham Hotspur.
HP, based in USA, will be the Club’s principal partner for the 2013/2014 season, according to Monday’s announcement.
Under terms of the deal, HP is actually extending a sponsorship agreement between the Spurs and Autonomy PLC, who has been a partner since 2010 and was acquired by HP in 2011.
“We are delighted to welcome the HP brand back to the Club having previously been a Club partner in the 90’s,” said Tottenham Hotspur Chairman Daniel Levy.
“HP has established itself as one of the world’s leading technology companies and we look forward to working with them once again for the coming season.”
AC Milan Secures Banking Partner
Banca Popolare di Milano will partner with AC Milan for the next three seasons.

BPM becomes a Top Sponsor of the Rossoneri, adding to the Italian bank’s support in other sports such as swimming and skiing.
According to a statement on AC Milan’s website, “innovative personal banking offers and the development of online channels are just the tip of the iceberg in a series of co-branding and co-marketing initiatives struck up between the two companies.”
The deal was brokered by Infront Italy, official advisors of AC Milan.
Philadelphia Union, Toyota Extend
The Tri-State Toyota Dealers Association will extend its sponsorship of Major League Soccer’s Philadelphia Union “for multiple years,” according to a report in the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Toyota Plaza, a fan area on the west side of PPL Park in Chester, Pennsylvania, will retain its name as part of the agreement, and a custom Toyota Highlander will continue to serve as the club’s promotional vehicle.
