Swansea City has agreed to a two-year extension to its existing sponsorship deal with Goldenway Global Group.

It is reportedly the largest deal in the club’s 102-year history and will run through the end of the 2015-16 season.

Vice chairman Leigh Dineen said the club is “excited and delighted to extend our partnership with Goldenway for another two seasons and announce the biggest sponsorship deal in the club’s history,” according to SkySports.

“We are not only honored to be backed by one of the world’s fastest growing financial services providers, but their prestigious presence throughout Asia has helped lift the club’s global brand to a whole new level.”

Brian Tsui of Goldenway called the relationship “invaluable” and said they “look forward to even more successful seasons working together.”

Portuguese giants Benfica will be kitted by Adidas through the 2020-2021 season.

The seven-year extension will pay “substantially” more than the ten-year deal that expired this year. Adidas previously paid Benfica $6.1 million a season under the previous agreement.

Adidas has been the supplier of Benfica kits since the 1980s except for a brief spell in the early 1990s.

“Only those brands that are bold enough can make a difference and history,” Luis Filipe Vieira, president of Benfica, said in a statement.

“Two of the biggest brands in the global sport industry renewed, once again, their long duration relationship. It is a sign of confidence, but also the recognition of the value that working together brings to each institution.”

The Meo group will sponsor the Portuguese national football team through 2018.

Meo is the mobile brand of Portugal Telecom, which has sponsored the national team for the past 18 years.

The Portuguese national football team crest will be used on Meo Group products, and national team players will appear in marketing campaigns for the group.

Meo is also a sponsor of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
