Brands Back Soccerex Asian Forum

Representatives from the Asian Football Confederation, Royal Jordanian Airlines, PepsiCo and the Jordan Tourism Board will participate in the Soccerex Asian Forum May 13-14.

The Jordan Tourism Board and PepsiCo will serve as official event supporters.

Spanish club Valencia CF will join Turkish club Galatasaray in the speakers line-up at the Asian forum.

Luis Vicente, chief commercial and marketing officer, Valencia CF, will speak on the “Continent of Opportunity” panel to discuss the club’s global fanbase.

“Luis has honed his commercial skills working for some of the biggest clubs and players in football and will be a fantastic addition to the Forum,” Soccerex marketing director David Wright said. “Due to his vast experience within the industry he will be able to provide invaluable insights into doing business within the Asian market.”


Among other speakers confirmed are Qatar Football Association president
Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmad Al Thani, La Liga president Javier Tebas and Sunil Gulati, president of the US Soccer Federation.

World Stadium Congress

The World Stadium Congress will take place from May 19-21 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Doha, Qatar.

Mr Tariq Saed A. Al Abdulla, general manager & head of technical affairs of the Qatar Olympic Academy & Qatar Olympic Committee, will deliver the keynote address. It will be about Qatar Olympic Academy’s sport venue management program.

Architects from Zaha Hadid, Populous, IDOM/ACXT, HKS, and many others are also slated to speak.

The event is billed as “an international event promoting design and delivery of world-class sporting infrastructure around the world.” A masterclass will take place the first night, with the conference on the following two days.
