Soccerex Global Convention Latest
DB Schenker will serve as an official partner of the Soccerex Global Convention and the Africa and Americas Forums.
The Soccerex Global Convention will take place on September 6-10 in Manchester, England.

A new interactive zone designed to show football as a development tool around the world will debut at the Soccerex Global Convention.
Dubbed the Corporate Social Opportunity Zone, the interactive zone will bring together NGOs and football rights holders with exhibitions, presentations, and other activation platforms.
The zone is a partnership between Terre des Hommes and Back in Football.
“Soccerex is always looking to highlight the social issues affecting football and the CSO Zone will allow us to devote more time and space to such an important and diverse area within the industry,” Soccerex marketing director David Wright said.
“In Terre Des Hommes and Back in Football we have two partners who are fully committed to ensuring football is fulfilling its social commitment to the world.”
Major League Soccer commissioner Don Garber and Olympic gold medalist Michael Johnson have also confirmed their participation as speakers.
Other confirmed speakers for the event include FIFA president Sepp Blatter, FIFA vice-president Jim Boyce, British Olympic Association chairman Seb Coe, Rugby Football Union CEO Ian Ritchie and former England and Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton.
Leaders in Sport Summit
Nicole Vollebregt, senior VP of global brand marketing at adidas will discuss World Cup sponsorship issues at the Leaders in Sport Summit.
The conference takes place on October 8-9 at Chelsea FC’s Stamford Bridge stadium.
Vollebregt was responsible for adidas’ marketing campaign for the World Cup.
She joins confirmed speakers CONCACAF president Jeffrey Webb, Barcelona vice-president Javier Faus, Jörg Wacker, Bayern Munich board member, Mark Lazarus, chairman of NBC Sports, Mark Tatum, deputy commissioner and COO of the NBA, and Chelsea chairman Bruce Buck.
“The Olympic Games and FIFA World Cup are two of the biggest, most anticipated sporting competitions in the world.
