ORLANDO, FL — Gameday Management Group (“Gameday”) announced today that it has been selected by CONCACAF to provide transportation services for the 2009 Gold Cup.  The 2009 Gold Cup features teams from countries throughout North America, Central America and the Caribbean.  The soccer tournament will take place July 3rd – July 26th in thirteen (13) different cities in the United States.  

“We are excited to once again be working with Gameday for the 2009 Gold Cup” said Jill Fracisico, CONCACAF Director of Competition and Events.  “With the success we had in 2007 with Gameday managing our transportation services it made sense to bring them back again.”

Ground transportation will be provided for all teams, VIP’s and officials.  Transportation moves will take place between airports, hotels, training locations and stadiums for day of games.  Gameday will work in each local market to procure the equipment that will be used for these moves.  Ground transportation will be supported by an on-ground staff that will coordinate all transportation components.
