beIN SPORT to Launch in Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines and Taiwan

beIN SPORT has announced that its exciting sports channel line up will launch next month in Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines and Taiwan. The news follows this week’s successful launch of the beIN SPORT channels in Indonesia.
beIN SPORT has launched three high-definition channels featuring a world class line-up of football content, led by the most extensive and complete coverage of the Barclays Premier League (BPL), as well as other compelling top sports events such as the 17th Asian Games INCHEON 2014. The channels will be known as beIN SPORT 1 HD, beIN SPORT 2 HD and beIN SPORT 3 Premier League HD.
- beIN SPORT 1 HD will broadcast a stellar bouquet of LIVE football all year round. This includes extensive BPL coverage with LIVE match coverage every football weekend. Other compelling football content includes LIVE coverage of the Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1, Major League Soccer (MLS), the Brazilian national league (Paulistão & Brasileirão), nPower Football League Championship, major cup tournaments such as the FA Cup, Coppa Italia and the Coupe de la Ligue, England and Italy National Teams coverage, National team friendlies and FIFA World Cup Qualifiers featuring top South American and European teams.
- beIN SPORT 2 HD will also feature LIVE BPL, Serie A and French Ligue 1 coverage, in addition to events from the Olympic Council of Asia including the 17th Asian Games INCHEON 2014, ATP 250 tennis events, International Baseball Federation events such as the Baseball World Cup, the Italian Volleyball League, top rugby events in the RBS Six Nations, Aviva Premiership, Rabodirect PRO12, coverage of the national teams of Argentina, and Wales and Ireland and much, much more.
- beIN SPORT 3 Premier League HD is the first ever 24-hour BPL-dedicated channel in Indonesia that offers round-the-clock coverage with nearly 1,600 hours of LIVE BPL programming each season. This includes up to 40 hours of LIVE programming each week that covers all 380 BPL matches per season, weekly magazine show Premier League World, the best pre-match coverage and post-game analysis with former BPL players and seasoned football presenter John Dykes, in addition to weekly preview and review shows and highlights from every round of the BPL.
The channel line-up has been tailored for each market with beIN SPORT 1 HD & 2 HD launching in Hong Kong, beIN SPORT 1 HD launching in Thailand and all three beIN SPORT channels launching in the Philippines and Taiwan.
