Manchester United to Play Pre-Season Game in Bangkok

(NYSE:MANU) English Premier League leader, Manchester United has announced today it will play a pre-season game in Bangkok as part of the Club’s Tour 2013, presented by Aon.
The match will be played on the 13th July at the Rajamangala Stadium and will see United take on the Singha All Star XI.
The Club’s Official Beer Partner, Singha will be the match sponsor, with the game forming part of the Thai brewer’s 80th anniversary celebrations. The winner of this exciting match will go on to be the first winner of the Singha 80th Anniversary Cup.
Manchester United’s first visit to Thailand was in 1975 and the Club has returned a further three times for pre-season friendlies. With an absence of 12 years, Sir Alex Ferguson and his full squad are looking forward to returning to the football enthusiastic country.
