"Poland and Ukraine can be extremely proud of their resounding success in staging the event," he told the 10th UEFA Conference for European National Team Coaches on Monday.
"We can certainly say that we 'Created History Together' this summer.”
Infantino and other UEFA officials are in Warsaw this week along with European national team coaches and technical directors for the biennial conference, hosted by the Polish Football Association this time around.
"I also wish to emphasise that we at UEFA are especially proud of the quality of the football that was on display, as well as the respectful attitude shown by players and officials, both on and off the pitch, and in particular towards the referee teams,” added Infantino in comments posted to UEFA.com.
"But as coaches and technical experts, you are all fully aware that football is a never-ending story – we can never rest on our laurels.
"It is with a strong desire to further develop the game and prove successful that all of you have now embarked on the qualifying competition for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.”
Infantino’s next stop after Warsaw will be Saint Petersburg, Russia for a Monday meeting of the UEFA Executive Committee.
Top items on the agenda are an update on the centralisation of media rights for the European qualifiers in 2016 and 2018, approval of regulations for the 2013-15 UEFA Under-21 European Championship, approval of new members to the UEFA Grassroots Convention and approval of new members to the Coaching Convention.
Ex-Co members will return home to the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland for their final meeting of the year, scheduled for Dec. 6 and 7.
